INTRODUCTION
The relevance of research. The economic crisis stimulated a reassessment of a number of basic provisions of economic theory, increased attention to heterodox areas of economic thought (especially to the hypothesis of financial "fragility" by H.F. Minsky, the theory of financial "bubbles", developed by Ch. Kindlberger and R. Aliber, and theories focused on the analysis of the development of systemic instability and its devastating impact on the economy), as well as the search for new theoretical approaches to the study of MFIs.
Awareness of the need for changes in the IFS to eliminate the consequences of the global economic and financial crisis and the possibility of its recurrence led to the launch of the processes of global financial reform initiated by the G20. Reform activities at the supranational level have been actively carried out since 2008 and have affected international banking standards, the functioning of systemically important financial institutions, the market for over-the-counter financial instruments and other areas. However, the key problems of financial globalization remain unresolved and continue to destabilize the system.
The main purpose of this study is to study the nature of crisis prevention and mitigation measures. Minimizing the consequences of the crisis for economic development.
To achieve the goal of the study, we set the following tasks:
Explore world economic crises;
The object of this study are causes, forms of manifestation, mechanisms of development and overcoming of the economic crisis.
The subject of this study are causes, forms of manifestation, cyclicality of the market economy.
Research methods. General scientific methods (analytical, synthetic, system, modelling method), private methods (documentation analysis, financial analysis, expert analysis). The theoretical and methodological basis for writing the work was the works of domestic and foreign authors, the information sources were the results of research, articles and reviews in specialized and periodicals devoted to the subject of the work, as well as Internet sources.
The work consists of introduction, main part, conclusion and bibliography.
Chapter 1 Literature Review
1.1 Concepts and main indicators of the economic cycle as a mechanism of the crisis system
The history of the development of the world economy shows us that the development of any economic system is by no means uniform, not linear, i.e. periods of intensive growth are replaced by deep crisis phenomena. Based on the experience of the historical development of the economies of different countries, it becomes obvious that they tend to repeat economic phenomena after a certain period of time. This feature was noticed at the beginning of the 20th century, many scientists devoted their works to identifying the causes of recurring crisis phenomena and developing measures to reduce the impact of such phenomena on the economy. In the process of studying the dynamics of the ratio of production of goods and demand for them, a certain pattern was revealed, the frequency of their changes. Analysis of the dynamics of the ratio of production of goods and demand for them was the basis for the research of many well-known economists, namely S. De Sismondi, K. Marx, K. Zhugliar. Subsequently, the ideas of the works of the above authors were further developed in the works of such authors as U.S. Jevons, D. Kitchin, M. Tugan Baranovsky, N.D. Kondratiev, J. Schumpeter, J.M. Keynes, C. Veblen, W. Mitchell, J.M. Clark, M. Kalecki, M. Friedman (Aparin A.N., 2019).
The works of such authors as F. Kydland, E. Prescott, V.I. Barkhatov, S.Yu. Glaziev and others.
Currently, in the context of the search for new guidelines for the socio-economic development of the Russian economy, there is practically no generally accepted theory that describes in detail economic cycles and their features, which could explain the reasons for their occurrence and reveal the factors that could be used to influence the modification economic cycles (Abdulatipov R. G., 2019).
The relevance of this study is determined by the need for a more detailed clarification of the concept of the economic cycle, as well as identifying the features of economic cycles in the economy of our country and developing a model of economic cycles for the Russian economy at the present stage of development.
The purpose of this study is to substantiate the correspondence of the phase of structural transformations to the cyclical development of the economy.
In accordance with the goal of the study, it is necessary to solve a number of problems, namely:
